COURSE DETAILS
Where can I complete my Advanced Rigging Ticket in Brisbane?
Shamrock Training offers Advanced Rigging training in Brisbane for students who are ready to progress beyond Intermediate Rigging. The course covers the nationally recognised unit CPCCLRG4001 and is designed for people working toward more complex rigging operations.
What are the prerequisites for the Advanced Rigging course?
To enrol in Advanced Rigging, you must have completed Intermediate Rigging or hold a valid RI licence. Students also need to be 18 years or older, have basic English literacy skills, and provide the required evidence of identity before assessment.
What does Advanced Rigging cover that Intermediate Rigging does not?
Advanced Rigging builds on Basic and Intermediate Rigging skills and covers more complex rigging work, including gin poles, shear legs, flying foxes, cableways, guyed derricks, suspended scaffolds and fabricated hung scaffolds. It is suited to workers involved in advanced construction, infrastructure and heavy industry rigging tasks.
How long does the full pathway from Dogging to Advanced Rigging take?
The full pathway generally includes four stages: Dogging, Basic Rigging, Intermediate Rigging and Advanced Rigging. Each stage must be successfully completed before progressing to the next level. Contact Shamrock Training to discuss your current licence status and the fastest suitable pathway.
Is there a licence application fee after the course?
Yes. After successfully completing your assessment, you will need to apply directly to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland for your licence. A separate government application fee applies, and your application must be submitted within the required timeframe after assessment.
