Who Needs the Confined Spaces Course?
Anyone who enters or works in a confined space as part of their job must hold this competency. The course is designed for:
Workers who physically enter confined spaces such as boilers, pipes, sewers, tanks, and vessels
Workers who act as a standby person during confined space entry operations
Anyone involved in work that requires entering an enclosed or partially enclosed space on any Australian worksite
This is a nationally recognised competency - the Statement of Attainment is the formal proof of competency you'll need to present to employers and principal contractors.

Are there any prerequisites for the Confined Space course?
No prior experience or qualifications are required for the full Confined Space course. If you are booking a refresher course, you may need to provide evidence that you have previously completed RIIWHS202E or an equivalent/superseded unit.
