  • Do earthmoving operators need formal training in Australia?

    For some plant, a specific HRWL is required by law. For others, the legal requirement is general operator competency, but principal contractors on major projects require formal RTO documentation for all plant operators before site clearance is given. A Shamrock statement of attainment meets both the legal obligation and the project requirement.

  • Can you train our operators on our own machines?

    Yes. We offer on-site training and assessment at your location using your equipment anywhere in Queensland. Contact us to discuss your specific machines and crew size.

  • How long do earth moving courses take?

    Duration depends on the machine and the experience level of your operators. Most single-machine assessments for experienced operators complete in one day. Contact us for specific timeframes.

  • Do you train individual operators or only groups?

    Both. We run regular public courses at our Northgate Brisbane centre for individuals and organise group sessions for companies needing multiple operators certified.

  • Are Shamrock earth moving course statements of attainment nationally recognised?

    Yes. All statements of attainment issued by Shamrock Training as a registered RTO are nationally recognised and accepted by contractors and clients across Australia.
